Dan Maier
As Vice President, Sales for Enterprise at Paylocity, Dan is responsible for all sales for the Enterprise Sales organization.
Dan has extensive global sales management experience, managing enterprise and channel sales teams throughout the world, for both publicly held and privately held software companies. Prior to Paylocity, Dan was the Chief Revenue Officer for Calabrio. Calabrio is one of the world’s largest independent software developers of workforce optimization (WFO) and analytics solutions that elevate the customer experience. Prior to Calabrio, he was the Chief Revenue Officer for CentralSquare Technologies, one of the leading providers for public safety and public administration solutions serving more than 8,000 public sector agencies. Prior to CentralSquare, he was the Senior Vice President, North American Markets for Ellucian, the leading ERP provider for higher education, serving more than 26M students and 2,900 institutions globally. Prior to Ellucian, he was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CRS, Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc., leading the sales organization as well as spearheading the company’s marketing strategy.
Prior to joining CRS, Dan was the Vice President of Sales for Illume Software for one year. He spent his first 11 years in sales at PTC (NASDAQ: PTC), where he served in several sales and sales management positions to include Senior Vice President for the Americas Channel Sales Organization and Vice President for Worldwide Inside Sales, as well as a two-year sales assignment in the People’s Republic of China. Before starting his sales career, Dan was a captain in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a Field Artillery Officer in the 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and investing. He serves as an Eagle Scout Coach for Scouts BSA, serves on the board for Sudbury Youth Basketball, and is active in his local community. Dan has a B.S. in Political Science from Loyola University in Maryland.
